Michele added, “While I’ve experimented with other foods and materials, eggs remain my favorite. We were curious about what has changed since Michele’s work was last featured on Bored Panda.
The artist shared, “A lot has changed since we last spoke! I graduated from medical school and recently moved to Berlin, which has been both an exciting and challenging journey. These new experiences have definitely influenced my creations. I’ve been experimenting with layering, different backgrounds, and exploring new subjects, constantly pushing myself to see what I can do with eggs. Although I took a long pause at one point, I’ve always found my way back to this creative outlet. While I’ve tried other hobbies, like knitting, eggs remain my constant. My approach hasn’t changed, though—egg art is my way to channel my thoughts and transform the noise and chaos in my mind into something tangible. For me, making eggs is a daily moment to focus and turn anxiety into something productive—or at the very least, something interesting to look at!”

Over time, social media has become flooded with food photography, but Michele’s work stands out as truly unique. We asked the artist what he believes sets his egg art apart and keeps people coming back for more.
Michele explained, “I think what sets my egg art apart is the intriguing use of an everyday object—the fried egg—to portray something equally familiar, like another object, symbol, or even a landscape. This combination creates a sense of relatability while sparking curiosity, making it both thought-provoking and uniquely engaging.”

When asked about the response to his food art, Michele shared what people have said about his work.
“I would say the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Occasionally, I hear comments about how one shouldn’t play with food, to which I reply that this is far from a game—it’s a form of eggspression. I also make it a point to ensure that no food goes to waste.”
